Kick em all out. I go out to dinner, I spend big bucks, and have to listen to someone not control their little, (or large) monster? I love Europe, they let me bring my dog into the restaurant. She lays under the table, quiet as can be, and bothers nobody.

She is absolutely incredible! I am pretty horrified with myself that I had never heard of her until I saw her obit. That's wicked that you have that little connection with her -so cool. I'll have to look up Raoul Wallenberg, too.

I'm glad to hear that you like her autobio - I wasn't sure whether I should pick up that or one of the super low-fi lookin' biographies written by White Dudes (tm). Now I know! Definitely next up on my reading list.

I can't tell you how awesome it is that you posted this! Nancy Wake is one of my heroines and I SO recommend her autobiography. She actually saved the great aunts of one of my best friends from school (and Raoul Wallenberg saved his grandmother-- not a kickass lady, but still a hero for the ages. Check him out too!).
